As a part of the Honda VersAttach™ System, the UMC425C power head is powered by the Honda GX25, Mini 4-stroke engine. Compact and lightweight, it offers easy starting, low engine noise, minimal vibration and superior fuel economy. It delivers the 'starts-first-time, every-time' reliability Honda is known for and offers superior performance when the UMC425C powerhead is paired with one of the multiple avaliable lawn and garden tool attachments. The world's lightest OHC engine, the Honda Mini 4-stroke engine requires no fuel/oil mixing and runs at approximately half the operating cost of comparable 2-stroke engines. Also, it offers full 360° "any-side-up" operation, which means you can use and store the UMC425C in any position and take advantage of the exclusive rotary-slinger lubrication system. A lightweight and ergonomic design with legendary Honda power results in trusted performance you can count on, day in and day out.
